Hurling into the void, along a path forgotten long ago.
Flashing like onyx in the fleeing Sun;
Striving to be seen in the coming dark.

I once burned for you like this; the summer heat inciting my madness.
You and autumn left with indifferent fury,
so I wrote a symphony of fire, in rage;
sent into the black - your requiem for ashes;
as the shadows reclaim their ground."
